  I never even got to see or speak with the Dr. in person before or after surgery to discuss what was going on, I was just instructed to leave the pet. Instead of the thorough surgery that was needed, he did as little as possible, which resulted in an open wound and infection. Now I'm having to take my pet to another vet to fix the problem and to get it done right. When I talked to Dr. on the phone, he was short and cocky and had the audacity to blame me for the mistake (wow), but was willing to charge me more to see my pet again. Very disappointing experience! I would suggest going elsewhere.

  Front office staff is not that pleasant. Always short and seem cold. The doctors and nurses are always nice. Bills always seem to grow from original quote. I question Dr. Zach's ability as he quickly diagnosed my dog's problem but failed to treat it properly. He gave the dog ten days of antibiotics and after the fact reading about Erlichiosis you need to administer antibiotics 3-4 weeks. One college of veternarian medicine said treat for 30 days. The bacteria come back on my dog and is in its advanced stages which a cure is now hopeless. I'm writing this as now I have to consider spending a great deal of money or have the dog euthanized as she is in a great deal of pain. Had he treated the dog properly I would not be in this position. It makes me wonder if the reduced medication was a ploy to get a return visit out of me. Due to his error or neglect I feel follow up care should be on him but we know that won't happen. They're too expensive to give a second chance. Wouldn't you be upset if you took your car to a mechanic and it still didn't run right?
